The group of five comic choral songs, Travels with my Pigeon received another performance recently in a concert of music all about birds by Incanto Phoenix, conducted by David Machell in St Mary’s Lowdham on March 16th
Under the Wide Sky
Under the Wide Sky, Guy’s popular cycle of Robert Louis Stevenson settings received yet another performance on Saturday May 11th at St Mary’s Radcliffe on Trent, when the wonderful young tenor Matthew Keighley, pianist Caroline Clemmow and Bingham Choral Society performed it as part of a concert of English Music. This was the first time Guy had conducted the piece himself.
